When someone comes to Christ out of a demonic religion, they still have permissions they gave the demons of that religion. Those permissions will either last for the rest of their lives or until they are renounced and commanded to leave. I prefer to have the new Christian do this for themselves, since they have to personally renounce the demons anyway. Here's an example of how to do it for someone coming out of Hinduism:
The Hindus have a God they call "Brahman". This is a pool of human and animal spirits. They have millions of 'gods' that are just manifestations of Brahman. These false "gods" are fronting for real demons who receive idolatry, worship and sacrifices. These demon ‘gods’ are still around, are receiving worship & sacrifices and are still being used. The worship & sacrifices add another level of complication to personal deliverance.
The first step is to ensure you have the authority to do the deliverance. "Our Father who art in heaven, I receive Jesus Christ of Nazareth, your only begotten Son, to be my only savior and master. I will trust and obey him for the rest of my life. Amen."
Hindu's popular demon-gods:
Krishna | Kali | Shiva | Vishnu | Hanuman |
Ganesha | Gandharvas | Apsaras | Ganga | Durga |
Indra | Chandra | Kama | Asuras | Lakshmi |
Nagas | Parvati | Pisachas | Rahu | Rakshas |
Rama | Rudra | Saraswati | Devi | Surya |
Varuna | Yakshas | Murugan | Agni | Brahman |
"all the other Hindu demon-gods"
For each of the above demons:
1. "I renounce _______ in Jesus' name. I break any seals or creative powers over any charms dedicated to _______."
2. "I break the power of sacrifices, chanting, dancing and worship given to _______ in Jesus' name."
3. "I command _______ to leave me, my family, my property, my finances and those who have helped me in Jesus' name." "Amen."
Now finish with the following prayer:
"Our Father who art in heaven, open my eyes to see any objects I might have that are still contaminated that must be gotten rid of. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit in all the areas that these demons have left. Protect me from sickness, harm and accidents. I thank you for all you have done for me, in Jesus’ name. Amen."
