Pray for Renewal

One morning after 6 am prayer a math professor came up to me and said he had been praying the Book of Acts over our church. Day 1 chapter 1, day 2 chapter 2, etc.. I liked the idea of praying the Word in this manner. Read the chapter and ask the Holy Spirit to do the same things in our city.      Then I invited our church to do likewise. The results were phenomenal. It dawned on us that the reason Acts has no conclusion is that it is not finished yet. The Holy Spirit will do the same things that He did then now. All we have to do is ask in faith.        We later published the prayer guide, Acts 29. It is an excellent follow up to Easter.
