Welcome to the new Ethnic Embrace USA bi-monthly newsletter
Last October, Ethnic Embrace USA was launched as an initiative of the Mission America Coalition (U.S. Lauanne Committee) and the Ethnic America Network. Since January we have been praying together through the USA People Group Prayer Project. Perhaps you also downloaded and prayed through the40 Day of Prayer - Blessings the Nations Among Us - prayer guide?
We are now pleased to present this new bi-monthly communication resource to help stimulate the diaspora conversaton, connect leaders, and help mobilize the Churchtoward the blessing of the nations among us. Our purpose is toserve a missional movement through greater awareness of what God is doing in bringing us the Unengaged and Unreached peoples of our world. Please feel free to forward this email to your colleagues, prayer partners and missional groups.
In this first issue, our main focus is on praying for and reaching Muslims, as Ramadan starts Tuesday, July 9th. We have recently launched a new initiative to mobilize prayer for our Muslim neigbors. You can visit the link below to download a 30 day prayer calendar to join many others in praying for the 30 largest Muslim groups who now call the USA home.
In future issues, we want to hear what's happening in your city, for a shared learning experience. How are diaspora UPG coming to know Jesus in your community? Feel free to email your story, success or failures, to info@ethnicembraceusa.net.Through this Ethnic Embrace USA e-Zine we want to tell the story of diaspora missions from our cities across the USA.The next issue will publish in September.
Thank you for lending your prayers and voice to this Great Commission work. May we together mobilize a united response to the amazing opportunity the Lord is giving us toward finishing the task. Please enjoy this introductory edition of theEthnic Embrace USA newsletter.
Be a blessing!
