Greetings fellow Christians,
I am new to the Pray Network. Everything looks great, but I'm still not sure how to enter prayer requests and find the prayer requests of others. I took the tour, but still did not get it.
Do you all pray for one another here in the forum? Is there a place for confidential requests?
Thanks for your help and God bless and strengthen each and every one of you.

We do not have a specific "request" section ... This location (Discussions) is a good place to indicate a request but you could also begin a group devoted to praying for one another. Since this is a relational network, we expect the sharing of prayer needs to take place in a phases of the network.
How can we pray for you?

Thanks so much for your reply to my first post. I think I'll start a group for mutual prayer and encouragement.
Concerning a personal request, I had to quit my job two years ago so I could help take care of our son who has cerebral palsy. My wife works, but I have not had an income for two years.
I need to find a way to generate some income from home. It must be a way that is flexible enough to work with our family situation.
My career background is in journalism, pastoral ministry, and investigations.
I have written a little book, but don't know how to market it.
I am volunteering as the prayer team coordinator for the Navigator staff here in the Kansas City area.
Thanks for your concern and prayers. How can I pray for you right now?
In Christ our Lord,
Glen Averill

Marilyn Duncan started a group called "Need Prayer?". This is a great area to both ask for prayer, and to lift up others needs as well. I have been involved for several months and am very comfortable both in sharing my needs as well as praying for other's prayer requests.....Give it a try.....it may be what you are looking for....if not, let me know the name of the group you are thinking of starting....I would be blessed by participating in your group as well.
Prayerfully....................Lynne Murray
Since I posted the above comments, I found an internet prayer ministry that I love and that is nondenominational. It is called www.prayway.com.
Check it out as soon as you can. The prayer requests that come in are divided into forum categories and once you do the free registration you can pray for others, or post your own requests.
