After reading a June 10, 2019 post reply from Dave Nickerson, I’m trying to discern if these Web sites are being taken as advertising. Dave’s reply was to “ALERT ~ Member: ‘just not sure how it works’" posted on Pray.Network by Phil Miglioratti on June 10, 2019 at 2:29 pm in "What's up?"
Dave was concerned that “…one could conclude that Pray.Network is about being recognized as an author or thinker about praying, but not about the ‘work’ of prayer.”
When it comes to theological, especially spiritual, human writings, my heart is also burdened by whether or not authorship claims by humans are prideful. If such writings are based on Bible study and prayer, are humans really authors or merely transcribers?
Years ago, God Gave me the term “shared by” for a local church newsletter. All articles published in the that newsletter during my time of service had only “shared by” acknowledgement.
Does anyone else think the Lord may Want these Web sites to replace the automatic “by” with an automated “shared by” to Solidify Who is Speaking?
