The Program
MetaCamp is a place where you can explore what the Bible really says about God’s plan for disciple-making, learn practical steps that global trainers are using to help rapidly grow communities of Jesus-followers around the world, and discover your place in God’s great work!
Each MetaCamp session takes place over 5 days of intensive discipleship training, intimate quiet time and fantastic food and fellowship! During this experience, you’ll develop a global perspective on God’s great mission and simple but powerful steps to start making and equipping disciples right where you live.

Training includes group lectures, team exercises, one-on-one discussions and individual study and meditation on:
- The Biblical Model of Discipleship
- The Principles of Reproducing Disciple-Making
- Small Group Formation and Leadership Development
- Practical Outreach & Prayer-Walking
- And Much More!

The 3-Month Plan
Before leaving, each participant prayerfully develops a 3-month action plan that draws from the simple steps learned and practiced during our time together. You’ll not only leave excited and trained for disciple-making, you’ll also be ready to start as soon as you reach home!
The Follow-Up
Following the camp-experience, each participant also receives optional follow-up coaching by phone or email to help you get started quickly and answer any specific questions you have about your own, local efforts.

The Setting
Located on a 22-acre peninsula and surrounded by serene Lake Martin, MetaCamp offers a perfect setting for hands-on instruction, quiet reflection and re-connecting with our Lord. Our main, 10,000 sq. ft. training facility is brand new and centers on acres of freshly planted berry fields, fruit orchards, vegetable gardens and more!

About Curtis
Curtis Sergeant and his wife Debie have served in global ministry for almost 30 years.
As a missionary -- Curtis spent more than 10 years in China, helping to launch a church-planting movement to a previously unreached people group that saw the number of Christ-following disciples increase from less than 100 to more than 500,000. During this time, he also developed a nationwide ministry to train the large house church networks on missions.
As a global-trainer -- Curtis has conducted one-month trainings for more than 1500 missionaries and ministry leaders from 300 diverse Christian agencies and organizations, including: YWAM, Wycliffe, Campus Crusade, Frontiers, Pioneers, Southern Baptists, Jonathan Project, e3 Partners and many more. While leading church planting at Saddleback Church, he developed a training project that planted hundreds of thousands of house church / discipleship groups in every district in India, including 89 people groups which had never had a church before.
At MetaCamp -- Curtis has helped to launch and lead MetaCamp with a heart to train and equip the next generation of disciple-makers in North America who in turn would have a heart for the nations. In the first 6 months, participants have established more than 200 house church / discipleship groups in the US and have plans to do so in more than 20 other nations.
