The situation in Syria is complex - much more so than the news headlines would lead us to believe. In one of the Harry Potter books, Sirius Black tells Harry, "The world is not divided between good people and death eaters" - and nowhere is the complex interaction of good and evil more on display than in Syria. God once changed the course of history on the road to a city in Syria called Damascus, when he revealed himself in power to a man named Saul, one of the chief persecutors of the church of the day. May he do that and more in this ravaged country today!!
