We definitely understand what you're pointing out. We've seen the need to make sure that God's people have practical and accurate ways to be good stewards. There is a real lack of clarity and your posted has prompted me to think about ways we can make this even more clear in our resources.
Praying with you for God's enabling power among His people to take the lead on stewardship of His creation.

My most consistent prayer regarding creation care is that God will clarify for me personally and for His people globally what the real issues and answers are, and will give wisdom to our political leaders to cut through the personal agendas. For example, I have a number of the new energy-saving light bulbs. I believe in saving energy, but these light bulbs contain mercury. When I read on the creation care website that one in six babies in the US are born with harmful levels of mercury in their systems, I have to wonder if I'm really doing the right thing. It's so hard to get real information on stuff like this - information not cluttered by advertising and agendas. The dubious science and scare politics behind Global Warming blind us to real issues that have real answers, like clean water for the globe, etc.
May God enable His people to take the lead in stewardship of His creation by giving us His wisdom and discernment!
Praise God that He can move mountains and heal our lands, with faith as small as a mustard seed, and faithfulness that He grows in us by His LOVE. In Jesus precious name, Amen!
