As D. O. C. Outreach Director, I've been ministering to broken men and women for 7 years through personal letters and a monthly newsletter. There are no words that adequately describe how God uses such little things to bless and sustain His children. I am as much a recipient of the blessing as are the prisoners who interact with this ministry. We have just over 3,400 members in 19 states and they generate a lot of letters!
Should you be praying for a way to be a blessing to another, to show God's love to a hurting person, to be light and salt, a letter once a month to a prisoner is a wonderful answer.
