  • Ramadan, Day 30 (June 25): France - Praying for those who persecute you

Father, please strengthen your church in France to forgive, to love, and to pray for Muslims in that country.  Remind your church not just in France but around the world of your love for those who persecuted your Son.  Lord Jesus, remind us of your forgiveness from the cross of those who crucified you, and of your command to love our enemies and to pray for those who persecute us.

Free your church from suspicion, bitterness, and hatred.  Touch the lives of those who have lost loved ones to Islamic terrorists - restore to them many times over what has been taken from them, and use their forgiveness to soften hearts that have been hardened against you.  Free your church from fear.  Enable us to love as you loved - with a perfect love that drives out fear.

    Amen.

  • Ramadan, Day 29 (June 24): The Komering of Indonesia

Father, please open the hearts and minds of the Komering to the truth of your word.  Set them free from bondage to animism and to Islam.  Create in their hearts a desire to know you and a recognition of their need for a Savior.

Please raise up opportunities for education and employment for the Komering. Bring groups to partner with them to improve their lives and make their way out of poverty.  May your kindness lead this people group to repentance.

    In Jesus' name. Amen.

  • Ramadan, Day 28 (June 23): The Gonja of North Ghana

Father, please draw to yourself entire households and extended households among the Gonja.  Open the hearts of family members of believers to the truth of the Gospel, and provide opportunities for Christian family members to share their faith.  Give wisdom to believers among the Gonja to share the Gospel with tact and in a way that will draw family members to you.

Work through the programs and agencies working with the Gonja to build literacy and develop economic opportunities.  Provide for this people both spiritually and materially.

    In Jesus' name. Amen.

  • Ramadan, Day 27 (June 22): Protecting Muslim Youth in Europe

Father, please reach out with your love and grace to Muslim teens caught in the backlash of radical Islamic terrorism.  Call them to yourself, showing them the errors of this religion of darkness and at the same time convincing them of your love.  Show them their need for a Savior.

Raise up your church to reach out with the same love and grace.  Free your people from bitterness, hatred, and the desire for revenge.  Fill your church with forgiveness.  Raise up prayer in the church for these Muslim teens.  Protect them from radicalization; draw them to salvation in Jesus.

Bring restoration to families who have lost their children to terrorism - whether as victims or as those who have been radicalized.  Thwart the efforts of the evil one to destroy entire families through these children.

    In Jesus' name. Amen.

  • Ramadan, Day 26 (June 21): Night of Destiny

Father, thank you for the ways you have revealed yourself to Muslims around the world, especially in the closing days of Ramadan.  Jesus, thank you for appearing in dreams and visions and giving people glimpses of who you really are.

Fulfill your promise for Muslims who are earnestly seeking the truth that when they seek, they will find.  Remove the barriers that keep many from pursuing you.  Perform miracles in the lives of new believers from Muslim backgrounds so that their families and neighbors can see that you truly are God, and that there is none beside you.

    In Jesus' name. Amen.

  • Ramadan, Day 25 (June 20): The People of Saudi Arabia

Father, please guide leadership in Saudi Arabia to relax the laws banning religious freedom.  Open doors for the spread of the gospel in this country.

Please also change the situation of women in Saudi Arabia who have little influence on their own futures and destinies.

Draw entire households to yourself in this country, so that new believers will have the support of family.  Change the culture of shame when a person comes to know you.  Place in the hearts of all Saudis a yearning for the truth that will set them free.

    In Jesus' name. Amen.

  • Ramadan, Day 22 (June 19): When faith changes a family

Father, thank you for Muslims who are coming to faith in you despite the ramifications with their families.  Thank you for loving them so much as to draw them to yourself.  Please use their faith to draw their entire households to you.  Give them both courage and sensitivity with regard to sharing their faith with their families.  Work through their lives to prepare the hearts of family members for the truth of the Gospel.  Grant sensitivity to Christians supporting these new converts; give them discernment to share.

For those who have lost family relationships due to following you, please honor their sacrifice.  Keep your promise to restore a hundredfold of all that they have given up.  Reward their faith in you both now and in eternity, and use their faith to attract their families to you.

    In Jesus' name. Amen.

  • Ramadan, Day 21 (June 16): Domari Gypsies of the Middle East

Father, thank you for the believers among the Domari Gypsies.  Please grant them purity of faith and practice - empower them to fully put off the old ways, the fears of the spirit world.  Enable them to fully trust and hope in you, and may the hope in their lives testify to other Gypsies of your love and grace and of the truth of your word.

Grant your church understanding and compassion for the Gypsies and open doors of opportunity to share your love in word and in deed.  Please provide opportunities for education for the Domari Gypsy children and for employment for the adults.  Raise up the means by which these families can provide for their needs without being exploited by others.

    In Jesus' name. Amen.

  • Ramadan, Day 20 (June 15): Educating Girls

Father, thank you for the efforts being made to educate children, especially girls, in many of the villages in South Asia.  Please protect these schools from attack, and continue to spread the vision for the value of educating all children.  Raise up resources for these schools so that they can provide for the children.  Provide translators for your Word so that these schools can teach the children about you in a language they understand.

    In Jesus' name.  Amen.

  • Ramadan, Day 19 (June 14): Muslim refugees in Sweden

Father, please grant wisdom to the leadership in Sweden as they balance available resources with a desire to help refugees and immigrants.  Raise up your church to reach out with your love and grace to these refugees.  Thank you for the opportunity that many of these refugees have to hear the Gospel for the first time.  Please open their hearts to the truth of your Word.

Encourage the refugees awaiting decisions about their immigrant status.  Grant hope from your word for a life beyond the one they have known and the one they are seeking.  Enable these refugees to integrate into the Swedish culture, and please grant each one the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel.

    In Jesus' name. Amen.
