Please pray with me for those who are going through the valley of the shadow of death.
My dad will DV be 95 years old in August, if his heart can last that long. He lives in a retirement center - he is well take care of, but his best friend at the center is now at the end of life due to lung & liver cancer. It devastated him and I am concerned for his own health due to this sorrow, as his heart is very weak due to congestive heart failure. Both of them love the Lord deeply and are ready to go Home. Please pray for grace, peace, heavenly joy and the Presence of the Lord.
May God give beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and a garment of praise instead of the spirit of heaviness.
With Him we are more than conquerors.

I understand your concern/sorrow ... My dad passed exactly one year ago, my mo just turned 96 and my mother-in-law is 95.
We are trying our best to honor our father and mother as they age and decline ... Lord, into thy hands we commit their spirits...
