Diaspora - the movement of people from one place to another - is throughout Scripture.  We see it in the garden of Eden, in the life of Jesus, to the island of Patmos.  What are some Bible verses, passages or stories that come to mind when thinking about diaspora and how do these help you pray for the world today?  What are some biblical prayers involving diaspora?

For example, when Solomon prays to dedicate the temple, he prays for foreigners who come to Jerusalem to pray as well as for Jewish exiles who are scattered to other nations (2 Chronicles 6:32-33, 36-39).  What are some ways we can adapt this prayer for the present-day/future migration of peoples?
