A Christmas Note from the President
|
This time of year I often just wish for silence. I have a 9 and 10 year old who love Christmas morning, as you can imagine. With parties for family, friends and work, life gets crazy.
Life gets filled with noise and silence can be a welcomed friend. Too much silence, however, leaves doubts. Too much silence leaves emptiness....

Vision One Update |
Pastors' Training This past September in partnership with the Praxis Center for Church Development, we began offering the "LifeFlow" church development process as part of our Vision ONE Pastors' Training segment. We currently have pastors from New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticutparticipating in the peer-to peer learning community segment.
We are excited about this new offering, and are already seeing God work in amazing ways within the lives and ministries of the participants!
The Disciples-Making Disciples' Seminar This past year, Vision New England continued hosting our Disciples-Making-Disciples' (DMD) Seminar at churches across the Region. The DMD seminar is a learning-community seminar experience focused specifically on helping Christ-followers understand and engage in the Matthew 28:19-20 "Disciple-Making" way of life. Over 1,000 people have participated in a Disciples-Making Disciples' Seminar to date.

Join us for our free Webinars as we unpack the valuable insights Tim Keller
shared at our Anniversary Event and discuss practical ways to apply the principles from each of the sessions within the context of our lives and the local church.
During each webinar, we will also share stories of how these principles are being lived out throughout New England.
We have intentionally scheduled each webinar to take place from 12:00pm to 12:45pm so that volunteer church leaders, bi-vocational ministry staff, and full-time ministry staff are able to participate.
The Gospel-Centered Church and Mission
Matt Kruse, the founding pastor of Seven Mile Road Church in Melrose, MA and Chris Goeppner, the founding pastor of Riverbank Church in White River Junction, VT will join us to share how their churches are committed to creating disciples who live on mission. Seven Mile Road Church is all about coming alongside people in their journey, extending grace, living and declaring the wonderful and surprising truth about Jesus and His Gospel that has come to us in the Scriptures, seeing souls redeemed for His glory and their joy, and watching those whom God has graced being sent on mission back to the places they are from and beginning the redemptive cycle all over again. Riverbank Church has grown from 8 people meeting in a living room in 2010 to now over 300 in attendance through a commitment to represent Christ well and live on mission in the community. Both these pastors are sure to inspire us and challenge us all.
