• WHAT? - What is the "1-Question" leaders must ask in order to #ReimagineFutureChurch?
My answer: "Is the body of Christ ONE in your city?
• SO WHAT? - What makes this an urgent need for leaders to contemplate/explore/discuss/pray into?
- How well are we projecting the glory of God? Does our example stand out like bright shining stars in the universe?
- What's the evangelistic fruit? Does our unity amid diversity cast a loving message of hope in our neighborhoods?
- Do they 'know we are Christians by our love'? Or are we more often known for something else?
• NOW WHAT? - What action do you recommend we initiate?
- Reimagine the Great Commission and Great Commandment as the most urgent and important mission in the world.
- Consider how your city's 1st-responders have trained to work together actively providing hope every day.
- "Fit your feet with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace." (Eph.6). "...as though God were making his appeal through us." (2 Cor. 5)
- "Our people need to learn to devote themselves to good works, providing for urgent needs." (Titus 3)
- Get with other collaborative churches in your community. Work out missional systems to provide good news to your closest neighbors by word & deed, through prayer, care and sharing the Good News."
• PRAY THAT ...
- Jesus' prayer from John 17... "that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe..."
