• WHAT?  - What is the "1-Question" leaders must ask in order to #ReimagineFutureChurch?

 

Are we focusing constantly and consistently on Jesus Christ — his life, ministry, teachings, and the explanation he himself gave of his identity and mission and the way he interpreted the Scriptures (e.g., in Luke 24 and the Sermon on the Mount).

 

 

• SO WHAT?  - What makes this an urgent need for leaders to contemplate/explore/discuss/pray into?

 

Churches face the constant temptation to get their ideas of church and ministry from the world's models (businesses, sports, whatever) or from contemporary churches that are doing supposedly new things. But the key thing that often gets left behind is a focus on Jesus himself — in the terms and actions and teachings he himself gave.
