"make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Philippians 2:2
Together Advance the Gospel, aka TAG, is a network of evangelical churches in the greater Rhode Island region. So... what is a network?
A church network is like a vibrant, interconnected web of congregations and ministries, each united by a common mission but uniquely serving its own community. Imagine a group of churches that share a vision to equip the saints and reach the lost, so much so that they are willing to share resources, ideas, and support to extend their reach beyond the walls of their individual buildings. This network collaborates to foster growth, not just in numbers but in spiritual depth, sharing collective wisdom and experiences to better serve God and the world around us. This collaborative approach allows the Church at large, and each individual church to thrive, knowing they have the strength of a larger body backing them up, whether it’s for prayer, community outreach, missions, leadership development, etc.
In the network, leaders and ministries are able to exchange resources such as teaching materials, event planning support, or even assist with preaching or worship leading, ensuring that no congregation has to reinvent the wheel. There’s also a big emphasis on partnership, where groups and individuals are able to work hand-in-hand to meet the needs of their shared communities, tackle social issues, or provide support during times of crisis. Whether it’s through a shared conference, collaborative volunteer opportunities, or mission trips, network amplifies the impact of each individual church, turning small efforts into something far more powerful when united under a common purpose.
At its heart, the network is a celebration of Christian unity and shared responsibility which puts the glory of God on display that, "the world will know that you sent me [Jesus] and have loved them."
It's not about creating a large, faceless institution of uniformity, but rather fostering a deep sense of fellowship and celebrating the beautiful diversity of God's people. Every church is empowered to stay true to its unique calling while benefiting from the wisdom and support of a broader community. It's a dynamic and living testament to what can happen when believers come together with open hearts, offering their gifts and talents to work toward something greater than themselves.
Our prayer is that the glory of the Lord will be manifest throughout the whole Church, bringing honor to the Name of the Lord and leading to a harvest of salvations like never before.

TG25 - THE GATHERING INTERNSHIP
The first month of TG25 is in the books and the inaugural group of interns has completed their training on intercession, prayer, hearing God’s voice, and praying for others. In February, they learned from Greg Johnson of Revive New England, Mike Valdes of Together, Andrew Mook of Sanctuary Church, along with other mentors. They also got to engage with and minister to students from Young Life in Providence. So what exactly is the TG25 internship all about? TG25 is a five month long training and equipping experience for missional living that is offered to young adults from 17-25 years old. Based on the three pillars of
- teaching, provided by dozens of spiritual leaders around the region
- shared meals, including prayer, worship, and fellowship
- one on one mentorships, uniquely arranged for each individual's burden and interest.
Regardless of vocation, calling, location, or etc, EVERY Christian plays a role in carrying the ministering presence of God into their personal context. TG25 exists to equip next gen leaders to engage this mission in the power of the Word and the Spirit. Applications for the fall semester are now open and can be found here.
