My life is my ministry

Let me share with you a few of the things I believe I personally heard the Lord speak to me as I was traveling recently. 

I believe the Lord told me my first responsibility in anything I do is to know him, not know about him, but to know him in such a way that I am one with him.  This is the journey I have been on, but as I look to the work of the future, the reminder is first the relationship with him. 

I also realized that my life is my ministry.  My ministry is not about a program, but who I am.  People are captured by who I am, not any great ability I possess.  This is the work of Christ in my life, not that I have already attained it as Paul says, but I press on toward the goal of the upward call of Christ Jesus. 

The third thing I was struck by is the need to pursue the kingdom of God. Jesus preached the kingdom. I want to live out a greater expression of the kingdom of God in the midst of a culture that is in direct conflict, yet I have been blinded to so many of the clashes.
