I really feel that we are all here to make a difference in others lives. I think the greatest thing christians can do is to leave a legacy that will honor God by the way we live. I want to help others, encourage others, and build into their lives things that will live on forever. I know we all have that opportunity to make a difference.
What are we living for?
24 For, "All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, 25 but the word of the Lord stands forever." And this is the word that was preached to you. (1 Peter 1:24-25)
I ran across a devotional by Ron Hutchcraft called "Living for things you cannot lose" I think this is a good perspective on our lives. I have also attached a word document about our legacy and quotes that are inspiring and uplifting as we live our life. I hope this blesses your life and may you pass it on to others who may benefit.
