  • As of July 1st Navs leaders are reassessing their decision - Keep praying. Keep posting.

  •  thank you for sponsoring "pray ! network"   !

  • Phil,

I just wanted to say "thanks" for volunteering to be the site coordinator, and thanks for decision to leave the network open. In fact, business managers are constantly assessing utilization. It's a sobering thought when my own job is on the line. I wonder how the Lord sees my use of time, and whether I am making the most of the limited opportunity I have to pray in this life.

[Luk 13:6-9 NASB] 6 And He began telling this parable: "A man had a fig tree which had been planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it and did not find any. 7 "And he said to the vineyard-keeper, 'Behold, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree without finding any. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground?' 8 "And he answered and said to him, 'Let it alone, sir, for this year too, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer; 9 and if it bears fruit next year, fine; but if not, cut it down.'"

Whether or not this particular network is the tool God uses in my life is not what matters. What matters is that the work gets done, the work He has prepared for each of us to do. Real prayer is the greatest work.

[Jhn 6:29 NASB] 29 Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent." If I truly believe then I must pray.

My time has been demanded of me and I have been unable to stay involved in this venue. Perhaps God will allow me more time to participate, to both be encouraged and to encourage, to be instructed and, by what I learn, me more equipped to instruct others.

I am sure Navigators is a quality ministry. Of all the groups involved in ministry, I expect integrity from Navigators. Much needed good common sense and solid doctrine. So I think it is a good thing that Pray! Network has been given an extension.

    In Christ,

    Bob E.

    • Bob,

Thank you for the encouragement that you gave to Pastor Phil Miglioratti--it is also encouraging to many others too.

    • Mega thanks Bob!

The Navs are first-rate and their willingness to reassess is a sign of that!

  • Some have wondered about the resources here on Pray!Network.  I would like to share this while the resources on Pray!Network are up and running.  Personally I would recommend that you download as much as you can.  When NavPress made a recent change, the online articles of articles that had been in the Pray Magazine were lost.  Seeing that experience--I definitely would copy items that are important to you"

  • I am curious if the materials that have been gathered through this network are going to be available anywhere else online or if we should try to download whatever we want for safekeeping before June 30.
Also I wonder if you have any suggestions of where the group might migrate to online.
Thank you for serving The Lord and all of us.
    • Robert--

Personally I would recommend that you download as much as you can.  When NavPress made a recent change, the online articles of articles that had been in the Pray Magazine were lost.  Seeing that experience--I definitely would encourage you to download what is important to you.

The material in my groups--the Praying Together Class and the Children and Prayer Class are available from me.  Those course booklets can be e-mailed in PDF format.  If you want them--please let me know by sending an e-mail to my personal e-mail address.  Don't use your Pray!Network e-mail address--I will need your personal address so I can make the attachment of the course booklets to the e-mail.

May the Lord help you download much material for future reference.

  • I am proud of an organization such as the Navigators, but I am sadden that Pray network is stopping. I hope that with the level of prayer needed in all aspects of our ministry and society we can keep the "prayer Cover" intact.
