WHAT IS A DISCIPLE
The greek word for disciple is (MATHETES) which means one who learns instructions from another. It was used in secular Greek world for an apprentice to tradesman. A disciple was not only a pupil but an adherent, hence they were spoken of as imitators of their teachers. Welcome. I am new to the Discipleship Network also. What a great blessed website. My family lives near Atlanta, Georgia, USA. My daughter, Jessica Stipcak, spent a few months in Kampala a few years ago at the university there on a short veterinarian student assignment and spoke much about one named Moses, whom she was so impressed with both in friendship and spiritual. She ended up staying with a professor and his family there. She is now working on South Beach in Miami, Florida. Could you be that same Moses?
