Help with raising our daughters

I am really struggling with how to best disciple our daughters (8 and 12).  There is so much out there as far as resources and materials.  However, I am struggling with the bigger picture of what should they be able to do and when that is appropriate, what to focus on at each age level, what is the framework to use? I don't want to look back on these days with regret.  My daughters deserve a father who will shepherd them.  I just am not sure how. Help!?
