Prayer Request

So, part of discipleship is being part of a community of believers and supporting one another in prayer.

I would like to ask you all to remember my husband, Stu, in prayer as he has surgery tomorrow morning at 8am PST.  About two months ago, he had to have emergency surgery due to a hole in his colon.  He had to have a colostomy and tomorrow they are reversing things and putting his bowel back together.  Following his initial surgery, he was having hallucinations from the epideral that they gave him for pain.  When he came home, they sent him home with a medication that made him manic and suicidal.  Once off that medication, he was fine but it was one scary weekend.  Anxiety is one of his biggest issues.  Also, pray for me as I support him and try not to fall too far behind at my job--since I have no one to cover for me.

    Thanks for the prayers. His surgery went well. The week in the hospital was a bit of a challenge due to reactions to medications and anxiety but he's home now. The challenge now is for his two wounds to heal. I did not need to take much time off of work and therefore did not get further behind in my work. We are thankful for all that He has done through this process.
