Every religion, in one way or another, is based on the good behavior/good works of the individual. Even Christianity, when practiced as a religion (living by rules and rituals – counting on traditions) is based on good works – being good enough (whatever that means) and better than average. But true Christianity is not based on your good works but on the good work of Jesus dying on the cross and rising to new life, defeating death. How can any amount of your good works match that? Gods not counting your good works; but you can count. On God’s good work accomplished through Christ. John 3:17
