Double or Die!
“Come and listen to me children and you shall hear of the midnight ride of Paul Revere!” It was the evening of April 18, 1775, when Paul Revere rode through the countryside awakening the locals with the cry, “The British are coming!” Many regard the night as the awakening call of the revolution. Have you ever heard of the midnight ride of William Dawes? Or Dr. Samuel Prescott? In fact, before the evening was over, some forty riders were scouring the countryside rousing potential revolutionaries! Of those, it has been suggested, that Paul Revere was the most successful because of “relationships” that he had throughout the region (See: The Tipping Point by Malcolm).
In the next six weeks, we need to double the number of county coordinators that we have! There is a need for a new revolution. We need everyone in the saddle – recruiting, crying out for more prayer for the nation. But we particularly need people with relationships to assist! Call your friends. Call them to rally their friends – to pray, on September 11, at Noon, for the nation.
It could be as critical as Paul Revere’s midnight ride. The nation is at risk.

Join the Weekly Envisioning CALL
This Thursday, I will share information call regarding the September prayer initiative called “Cry Out America!” The number is 712-432-0075, access code 367853. The times for the call are 2:00 and 9:00 p.m. EST. The calls are designed to inform and inspire regarding the Awakening America initiative. Get your county leadership team on the call. Encourage other potential county coordinators to join the call.
National Press Releases Set to Go
The national press agent for the Awakening Alliance plans a press release in the coming days. While the national media only tends to pick up on the potential rallies in the days and weeks leading up to September 11, this year we hope they will note that the event is being transformed into a movement!
In addition, I have asked the press agent to prepare releases that you can begin to use in your local area. I will notify you when those are available and where to find them on-line!
SUNDAY, JULY 4 – THE CALL 2 FALL on our Knees!
Don’t forget that this Sunday, thousands of churches will go to their knees in a corporate act of humility, repentance, and desperate prayer in houses of worship all across America. Believers are encouraged to kneel for 5 minutes before the Lord wherever they may gather that day. The "Call 2 Fall" on our knees is set for July 4, 2010, the Sunday we celebrate our "Independence." Praying through the Heart of the Year for the Soul of Our Nation
Prayer Focus: Imparting faith to children and youth, as parents are equipped by the church to become primary disciplers of their children (Church)
Week 9: June 27 through July 3
- Pray that parents will acknowledge and act upon their God-given responsibility as primary disciplers of their children.
- Pray that parents will commit to spending time in prayer and Bible study with their children.
- Pray that parents will openly share with and demonstrate their faith to their children.
- Pray that parents will actively intervene to protect their children against the ungodly influences of media.
- Pray for God’s wisdom upon parents as they counsel and guide their children in times of doubt or conflict.
- Pray that the church will provide meaningful instruction and compelling resources for parents to use in shaping their children’s lives socially, relationally, and spiritually.
- Pray that churches will acknowledge the need to strategically invest in building strong families.
