  • Kimmerly, welcome to Pray.Network!  I hope that your time here is blessed.  I saw a couple of items in your profile regarding your prayer interests and wanted to recommend a few resources if that's OK.

For praying scripture, have you read Tiece King's book "Pray the Word"?  There's a 90-day and a 31-day version, both available on prayershop.org (Harvest Prayer Ministries).  The prayer devotions are really good and thoroughly scriptural.

On missions and on praying for the United States, there are several groups on PN.  Marsha Mundy's group "Prayer for the World" is probably the most active one on missions.  I have a few prayer-blog type discussions in that group.  If you check out my home page (http://www.pray.network/profile/AndrewRWheeler), you can see the prayer blogs I'm keeping.  I invite you to join in if you're interested!

On praying for the country, Phil Miglioratti has a group called OneCry.  I also have one called "Praying for the United States" which has a number of prayer resources and a couple of prayer blogs in it.  Next year I plan to again do a prayer blog based on "Seek God for the City" - if you haven't heard of that one before, check out waymakers.org - they're the ones that produce the guide.

I believe Cynthia Bezek has written on prayer retreats, although she hasn't been active on PN for a while.  I've met her and she's a wonderful person - I would highly recommend anything she writes.  On the neighborhood front, I would encourage you to check out the prayer-care-share groups and discussions.  Love2020.com (which you can see in the right-hand column) is a key website on that front.  Alvin Van Der Griend (hope I spelled that correctly) has also written a book on that topic and you can find it on prayershop.org.

There are many other groups on here as well and I'd encourage you to scroll through the list for the ones you might be interested in.  Go to Ministry Sites>All Groups in the menu if you want to see them.

    Again, welcome to Pray.Network!

    Andrew
