Nigeria Mark had a wonderful trip to Lagos, Nigeria.  As we shared in the previous email update, he spoke to 17,000 pastors and church leaders on the topic, “Mobilizing Your Evangelists.”  He defined the biblical gift of the evangelist and shared 9 common traits of an evangelist based on the life of Philip, the Evangelist in Acts.  Then he gave ways pastors can affirm and partner with evangelists in their churches and ministries.  You can watch his full 30-minute message HERE . Even more than his message, his greatest highlights were the people he met and divinely orchestrated conversations with leaders throughout the world where there may be potential partnership in the gospel. Urbana 25 Thousands of college students and young adults attended Urbana 25 to explore their roles in God’s global mission.  Over half the participants indicated they would actively take various steps in the next year in discerning their callings and roles in God’s mission.   Here is a short summary video of Urbana 25:    Click on the Urban picture above to start the video.   Please Pray For..... Christian Colleges National Conference (Jan. 29-31) in Dallas:  for Mark as he hosts an InterVarsity sponsored lunch for campus pastors, and as he promotes a new evangelism training curriculum for Christian colleges to train their students as witnesses.
