Waiting on The Lord!

Hi my name is Mike and my general nickname is: "Mikkimonkki"

This is my first post here on Pay! Network.

I came back to The Lord 12 month`s or so ago after running away from Him, or so I thought, for 25-30 years!

I was working fo Him as an Evangelist and previously as a Pastor.

He put tenderly put His arms around me and brought me home to His fold once again... Hallelujah!

I am now disabled with Spinal Stenosis and now retired as I am nearly 65yrs of age.

I am trying to develop my prayer life, and I would like to as if you could please give me some advice/tips on how to "Wait on the Lord in Prayer"... Thank you so much for letting me to become a member at "Pray! Network.

    Waiting on the Lord means to recognize and honor His sovereignty over all things and to give preference to His choice of timing. It means He sometimes gives His children opportunity to practice and develop the fruit of the Spirit, patience. Hope that helps in some way.
