Heavenly Father,

We thank You for Your faithful care and love.

We pray for the people in Florida in the path of the hurricane.

You are all-powerful. A hurricane is nothing to you. 

Please help all the evacuees who don't know if they will still have a house when they go home.

Draw all near to You and give them calmness and peace. Strengthen their faith.

Please provide all they need, especially vulnerable people, like parents with young children and sick people.

Send Your angels to help...

Calm the storm again, as You did so long ago.

Please Lord God.
