The creator of the universe, the chief evangelist, apostle, prophet, and teacher, Jesus, asked His disciples to pray for this specifically. This is His prayer request according to the Bible. 'The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.' Luke 10:2 Jesus didn't ask for prayer for a financial blessing, or for people to be healed.
