What Is a Leader Lab?
A Leader Lab is a guided, interactive process that equips ministry leaders to move beyond reading and discussion into prayerful discovery, shared discernment, and faithful action. It creates space for leaders to ask better questions, listen to Scripture and the Holy Spirit, learn from one another, and translate insight into practices that can reshape ministry culture.
The MVP of This Lab — Mission • Vision • Passion
- MISSION — Guide leaders (and those they incorporate into the process) to prayerfully examine the DNA shaping their people and the Operating System shaping how their ministry actually functions.
- VISION — Cultivate a ministry culture increasingly aligned with Christ, Scripture, the Spirit, and its God-given mission.
- PASSION — Move beyond simply identifying what needs to change toward faithfully reshaping how ministry is understood, practiced, and lived together.
The Simple Rhythm for Every Gathering
Every session follows the same three movements:
•LOOK — What are we seeing?
•LISTEN — What is the Lord saying?
•LEAD — How will we faithfully respond?
The emphasis changes from gathering to gathering, but the rhythm remains the same. The DNA + OS document is the diagnostic menu, not a checklist.

These five sessions describe movements, not mandatory meeting lengths. Adapt them to your context: one movement may require part of a gathering, several gatherings, a retreat, or a longer season of discernment.
